At present, Enjine offers an External Plant Fibre Course.
This two day course aims to provide participants with an understanding of the OH&S regulations and train them on the fibre optic equipment and cable that is used in MAN/WAN networks, and best installation practices.

This course has been written for carriers.

Trainers

All facilitators are from a telecommunications industry background with relevant experience, qualifications and sound knowledge in the area they are instructing.
The principal instructor will be John Kelly who has extensive experience in conducting and assessing TITAB accredited telecommunication modules on his own behalf and with RTOs such as JB Hunter Technology and RMIT.

Instructor experience includes training in the following:

• Open Registration
• Structured, Co-axial and Fibre Optic Cabling
• Underground and aerial external plant
• Telstra CAN, basic jointing, Fibre Optic Jointing, Cable location, Pit and Pipe and Cable hauling
• TCP/IP Switching and Routing Technologies
